I love this creamy coleslaw on top of the vinegar based pork BBQ sliders. In this recipe I lighten it up my using both olive oil and mayo.
Ingredients
• 1 package (14oz) Cole slaw mix
• 3 thinly sliced green onions
• ¼ cup of vomFASS Calamansi Balsam Vinegar
• ¼ cup vomFASS Don Carlos Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• ½ cup mayo
• 1 TBLS grainy mustard
• 1 TBLS Honey
• ½ tsp vomFASS Seasoned Salt
• ½ teaspoons of celery seed
• salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
Directions
1. In a small bowl prepare dressing by whisking together the vinegar, mustard, honey, extra virgin olive oil, mayo and seasonings, set aside.
2. Pour cabbage blend into a separate bowl, add the dressing and mix well. Taste and adjust flavor with additional salt and pepper and chill before serving.
